5 Easy Gluten-Free Lunches For Kids
#5 Cauliflower Pizza
Every kid loves pizza, but the regular pizza crust is full of gluten. Surprise your kid with this favourite gluten-free food!
- 3/4 head cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of choice: ham, bacon, mushrooms, sausage…
- 1 can pizza sauce
Instructions:
Chop the cauliflower head (use the florets only), run it through a blender and microwave that flour-like texture for 5 minutes on high.
Heat the oven to 400 degrees, and add egg, cheese and seasoning to the cauliflower mixture.
Form two pizza crusts approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter on a baking sheet, and spritz the crusts with cooking spray.
Place them in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, and when it’s done top them with cheese, pizza sauce, and toppings of choice.
